Future Union-Envi-Al Amal Group Alliance Meets with Qatar Energy to Discuss Landmark Emission-to-Energy Project

DOHA, Qatar – February 23, 2026 – A high-profile delegation from the strategic alliance comprising Future Union, Envi Group, and Al Amal Group (Al Amal) held a pivotal meeting with Qatar Energy officials today to discuss a groundbreaking environmental project. The proposed initiative aims to capture off-gas emissions and convert them into electrical energy, marking a significant step toward sustainable industrial practices in the region.

The project, formally submitted by the alliance to Qatar Energy, aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by focusing on waste-to-energy conversion and the reduction of atmospheric pollutants. If implemented, the project would represent a major investment in clean technology, supporting Qatar’s commitment to environmental stewardship.

The meeting brought together key decision-makers from both sides. The alliance delegation was led by:

· Mr. Gabor Egri, Chairman of the Board, Envi Group
· Dr. Abdelgalil Sharaf, CEO, Future Union

The technical teams from the alliance also joined the discussions via a video conference call, providing detailed presentations on the project’s feasibility and engineering specifics.

Representing Qatar Energy at the meeting were:

· Eng. Mourad Moussaieff, Head of Project Engineering (Onshore Project)
· Eng. Ganey Howard, accompanied by his support team.

The discussions focused on the technical parameters, environmental impact, and implementation roadmap for utilizing off-gases to generate power. This project is considered a vital contributor to environmental causes, aiming to enhance energy efficiency while minimizing the carbon footprint of energy production.
