“Future Union” and “GreenTheris” Set Executive Action Plan for Green Energy Projects in Qatar and Africa

Doha, Qatar – April 15, 2026

In line with national strategies for sustainability and green economy, and within the framework of joint cooperation to implement projects in Qatar and abroad, H.E Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al Thani chaired an expanded meeting between Future Union and GreenTheris, under the motto:
“L’innovation au service de la finance verte” (Innovation in the Service of Green Finance).

The meeting took place at Future Union’s headquarters in Doha. Participants reviewed ongoing projects in Qatar, as well as projects outside the country, leveraging Future Union’s extensive presence in Africa and the Middle East through its branches in those regions.

Action Plan and Direct Implementation

The meeting resulted in a clear action plan and mechanisms for direct implementation of joint projects, focusing on the green energy solutions and special innovations provided by GreenTheris – the Canadian company leading in this field.

Leadership Endorsement for Alternative Solutions

At the conclusion of the meeting, H.E Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al Thani praised the level of joint cooperation and reaffirmed his full support for efforts to provide alternative solutions that contribute to sustainable development and strengthen Qatar’s position as a regional hub for green finance and environmental technology.

This meeting is part of a series of talks aimed at accelerating the transition to a low‑carbon economy and enhancing international partnerships in renewable energy and sustainable innovation.
