Under the gracious patronage of the Ministry of Investment of the People’s Republic of China, the city of LiuZhou witnessed today the signing ceremony of a strategic partnership agreement between Shenzhen Fengfa Technology and Future Union, to build a globally advanced electric vehicle manufacturing plant, recognized as the newest and most technologically advanced facility of its kind worldwide.
The agreement was signed on behalf of Future Union by Dr. Abdelgalil Sharaf, CEO of the company, in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Hassan Al-Dughairi, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors. On behalf of Shenzhen Fengfa Technology, the agreement was signed by Mr. Zhou Qing Yu.
The signing ceremony took place in a formal event hosted by LiuZhou , the economic capital of southern China, attended by representatives from both parties, reflecting both sides’ commitment to advancing the transition toward green mobility and supporting China’s ambitious goals in the field of clean energy.
Factory Specifications.. A Quantum Leap in Smart Manufacturing
The factory will be established in the suburbs of LiuZhou in accordance with the highest international standards, utilizing state-of-the-art automation and artificial intelligence systems across its production lines, with a special focus on developing high-efficiency electric drive systems. The partnership will leverage Shenzhen Fengfa’s expertise in switched reluctance motors and electronic control systems, which achieve efficiency rates exceeding 90%. This provides the factory with a unique competitive advantage in the market, benefiting from the advanced industrial infrastructure for which LiuZhou is renowned.
Market Strategy: China First, Then Europe
Both parties announced that the factory will initially direct its production to meet domestic demand in the Chinese market, the world’s largest electric vehicle market, capitalizing on the integrated infrastructure and supply chains of the Pearl River Delta region. After establishing a strong presence in the Chinese market, the project will gradually expand to target European markets, which are witnessing growing demand for high-quality electric vehicles, in line with European zero-emissions standards.
Official Support to Enhance Global Leadership
A representative from the Chinese Ministry of Investment expressed the Ministry’s full support for this project, emphasizing that the selection of LiuZhou to host this factory falls within the state’s strategy to develop the electric vehicle industry and strengthen its global standing, given the city’s attractive investment environment and integrated supply chains. He added that the Ministry will provide the necessary facilities and remove obstacles to the project’s implementation, contributing to job creation, the transfer of cutting-edge technology, and advancing the goals of carbon neutrality.
