The Future Union in Tanzania today began an official visit to the United Republic of Tanzania to review proposed development projects and discuss avenues for joint cooperation.
The visit commenced with a meeting with officials from the Tanzania Investment and Special Economic Zones Authority (TISZA), where a working session was held to explore investment opportunities and partnerships in Tanzania’s development projects.
The meeting was chaired by Mr. George Mukono, Acting Director of Investment Promotion at the Authority, and was attended by:
· H.E. Hassan Al-Daghri, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors.
· Dr. Abdelgalil Sharaf, CEO of the Union.
· Ms. Amal Al-Jazouli, Director of the CEO’s Office.
· H.E. Ambassador Dr. Habib Galus Kampanga, High Commissioner.
· Mr. Sami Abbas, Member of the Delegation.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed a number of promising projects in the fields of infrastructure, energy, mining, and agriculture. They also explored mechanisms to enhance investment cooperation and exchange expertise in a way that serves the interests of both parties and supports Tanzania’s economic development journey.
This meeting comes as part of a series of planned visits and meetings over the coming days, which will focus on activating strategic partnerships and studying available opportunities in the Tanzanian market.
