Future Union Registers as an Approved Buyer with Dangote Refinery in Strategic Move to Secure Petroleum Products
Lagos, Nigeria – May 22, 2026
As part of expanding its operations and ensuring stable supply chains for petroleum products, Future Union has announced a strategic cooperation agreement with the Dangote Refinery in Nigeria, one of the largest and most advanced refineries in Africa.
During a meeting held at the refinery’s headquarters in Lagos, Mr. Hassan Al-Dughriry, Vice Chairman of the Board, and Dr. Abdelgalil Sharaf, CEO of Future Union, met with:
· Mr. David Burt, CEO of Dangote Refinery,
· Hajia Khadija Dangote, Sales Director, and the refinery’s sales team.
The parties discussed Future Union’s petroleum product requirements for the entire year and reached an agreement to:
1. Register Future Union as an approved supplier with Dangote Refinery.
2. Execute the first direct purchase order for petroleum products, paving the way for a long-term partnership.
Both sides commended Future Union’s excellent reputation and the high level of trust it commands in the energy and trading markets.
