<p>Doha, Qatar – April 15, 2026</p>
<p>In line with national strategies for sustainability and green economy, and within the framework of joint cooperation to implement projects in Qatar and abroad, H.E Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al Thani chaired an expanded meeting between Future Union and GreenTheris, under the motto:<br />
&#8220;L’innovation au service de la finance verte&#8221; (Innovation in the Service of Green Finance).</p>
<p>The meeting took place at Future Union’s headquarters in Doha. Participants reviewed ongoing projects in Qatar, as well as projects outside the country, leveraging Future Union’s extensive presence in Africa and the Middle East through its branches in those regions.</p>

<p>DOHA, Qatar – February 23, 2026 – A high-profile delegation from the strategic alliance comprising Future Union, Envi Group, and Al Amal Group (Al Amal) held a pivotal meeting with Qatar Energy officials today to discuss a groundbreaking environmental project. The proposed initiative aims to capture off-gas emissions and convert them into electrical energy, marking a significant step toward sustainable industrial practices in the region.</p>
<p>The project, formally submitted by the alliance to Qatar Energy, aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by focusing on waste-to-energy conversion and the reduction of atmospheric pollutants. <p>In a significant step towards modernizing Syria&#8217;s transportation infrastructure, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was officially signed today between the General Corporation of Hijaz Railway and Future Union (Syria) . The signing ceremony took place in Damascus, marking the beginning of a strategic partnership aimed at the rehabilitation and development of the historic Hijaz Railway line.</p>
<p>The MOU establishes a framework for collaboration, leveraging Future Union&#8217;s extensive international experience and technical capabilities. The company, in partnership with its German associates, brings world-class expertise in railway construction and modernization to the project. Future Union’s proven track record and stellar reputation in numerous countries around the world were key factors in securing the precedence to undertake this vital national project and explore the development of additional railway lines in the future.</p>
<p>The agreement was signed by Mr. Mohammad Saad Al-Ajmi, Director General of the General Corporation of Hijaz Railway. He was accompanied by Mr. Yahya Douqmaq, Assistant Director General.</p>
<p>Signing on behalf of Future Union (Syria) was Mr. Khaldoun Afsh, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors. The signing was witnessed by Mr. Mohammad Raji, Board Member, along with other members and representatives from Future Union (Syria).</p>
<p>This partnership signifies a shared commitment to reviving a key piece of regional history while introducing modern, efficient railway technology to support economic growth and connectivity in Syria.</p>

<p>FUTURE UNION HOLDS HIGH-LEVEL MEETING WITH MINISTRY OF ENERGY IN ZANZIBAR TO STRENGTHEN ENERGY PARTNERSHIP</p>
<p>In a significant step toward strengthening bilateral economic cooperation, a high-level delegation from Future Union held an official meeting today with H.E. Nadir A. Al-Wardy, Minister of Water, Energy and Minerals of Zanzibar. The meeting took place in Zanzibar as part of the company&#8217;s official visit to the region.</p>
<p>During the discussions, H.E. Minister Nadir A. Al-Wardy reviewed the projects of mutual interest with Dr. Abdelgalil Sharaf, CEO of Future Union. The talks focused on the implementation of projects under the EPC+F (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction + Financing) model, with an emphasis on providing the necessary financial guarantees to ensure timely and successful delivery.</p>
